Journey from my Home to Ghatkopar Station.
Jagdusha nagar Lane |
My colony is blessed
with transport service. We hardly get any auto to go for station, early
in the morning. Regarding bus, its better not to comment. So the options
left with you are either go by personal car or do the walking. I prefer walking over car and I think it has become blessing in disguise.
I
would call this 10 to 15 mins walk as a Journey. This journey starts
with saying good morning to people whom I know in building who just pass
along with me. Then come the lane where, I can see people either waiting
for auto or walk till naka to look out for auto. I don’t know whether
they get the auto as I am on my walking path. But I always see 1
autowala , who just wait over that naka but never say yes for anything you
ask. I wonder what he must thinking? Then come the playing ground which has
more of human waste than people playing over there.

Let’s
take this journey ahead, once I come out of my lane, I see different
world. People living in slums. Total change of living. When I cross this
slums, I ask myself why so much of difference? What they
must be thinking about so called buildingwalas and they must be having the
same dream of having their own buildingwala house?

Station Road |
While
walking, I start looking at people and try to figure out what must be
cooking in their mind right now? I can sense different thing, such as I
saw a woman, walks like as if she is running and looking at her watch
every now and then. I am sure she must thinking of catching 8 56 ladies
train. LOL.

Just forgot to mention, this said road
is blessed with metro rail construction as well and when I saw a man,
looking at huge pillars, I am sure he must be thinking ,”कब ख़तम होगा यह , कब ? I swear, I get the same feeling when I cross that
construction path. A college boy, busy listening to
music and am sure he must be thinking of good time spent in past and
enjoying every bit of a music.

Out of all lot of these
people, what struck me the most was a kid (may be in 2nd or 3rd stad)
wearing horizontal huge school bag in his shoulder walking along with
his mom. He was walking as if there is no noise of construction, no
tension of going to school, looking down playing with stones and walking
slowly. This kid reminded me of my childhood. Reminded me of carefree
world , reminded me of freedom of life , reminded me of so many small
small things in life which we forget to enjoy while become so called
wiser. Its good to act like a child sometime.
