Announcing Award Wapsi Grand Event!

It is observed that in past few months some intellectual people from different domains- viz. Film, Historians, Science, Art etc are returning their respective national award to protest the existing government in name of growing intolerance in India and appointment of Director in Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) institute.

In this background I feel let us have Award Wapsi Night where once and for all, we call all the people who would like to give their any kind of awards back to the government. Current government is liberal and will not stop this award night.

Let me refresh the memories of these intellectuals, writers, actors etc who have return their award putting forward the reason of so called intolerance, that there are N number of incidences and happenings accord prior to this government came in to power namely Imposing of Emergency, Massacre of Sikhs in the year 1984, killing of Kashmiri pundits, who became refugee in their own country and so on and so forth.

Indeed all these incidences and happenings were worst and most disgusting. May I know what prevented these gentlemen / women to return their award at that time which they are exercising now? Hence this exercise of returning the award is without any doubt politically motivated.

Myself and some of my good friends will announce shortly a function which will be called as “ AWARDWAPSI” function and all those who still intend to return their award can come and return the same. Our only appeal will be please do also bring, “CASH Amount” which you have received along with award without fail. Rest assured we shall make use of this amount for the betterment and harmony of relations in the society.

PS: Do not worry about the sponsors as we are touch with the people who have intolerance in their “mind set” and they are the one who are creating fake environment in country and they would be keen to sponsor this event.
