India- Independence Day
We generally take personal resolution on 1st January of every Year. I think we as an Indian should also take one more resolution on 15th August of Every year. Resolution is to Empower India , is to make India better. There is still a huge divide in India ( from Aisha to Peepli Live – I read this article in Mumbai mirror today)
You as an Indian can do this by taking simple resolutions such as,
a. Once in a year i will plant a tree.
b. Will atleast stop people from spitting on roads ( or rather I will not do for sure )
c. Will donate 1% of my money to an NGO who actually work for some good cause.
d. Will donate my blood
etc There are many I dont need to write…….( let us improve the Civic Sense)
Instead of blaming the government blindly , we as citizens can & must take part in some way or other by doing activities which empower India.
What you want from your Country is an Answer you have to find.
“I do not want India to be an economic superpower. I want India to be a HAPPY Country.” I am in total agreement with JRD Tata.. I want my India to be HAPPY than RICH( by virtue of greediness )… where people can live happily with freedom of speech( i.e. democracy).
